DAVID KRIEGER, WAGING PEACE (SWEENEY 2024) SEEDLING 3633 (SF) TET (OTOS X MATTON SDLG) 30 INCH SCAPE, 7.5 INCH FLOWERS, EV, 4 BR, 18 BUDS, REBLOOM IN CALIFORNIA. HUGE..BRANCHED..TEETH THIS IS A GORGEOUS SEEDLING THAT BLOOMED 1 YEAR AFTER PLANTING WITH WHAT I THOUGHT WERE 12 BRANCHES!! Then I realized that I could not count the branches that only had 1 flower..so i had to go to 4 way consistent branches. These 7.5 inch bright yellow flowers, fading to light yellow with dark yellow edges by dinnertime, do not crowd one another, beautiful spacing, dark green throat, fertile both ways, thick scape and instant rebloom happens . I am combining this with some of my broken seedlings in hopes of getting a huge toothy broken seedling that fades in the afternoon. not exactly a color changer. This plant is named for a man who had spent his life waging peace. He started the “Nuclear Age Peace Foundation” in Santa Barbara, CA. which had been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize. He was a truly amazing human being.
