This seedling surprised me from the first time I saw it. Never would I have expected this from the parents it has. It's consistently streaked, except for an occasional bloom of palest lavender, and the streaking is not the same on any of the blooms. Always is open wide early in the AM. Pods are somewhat reluctant but it will set seed. Pollen is easy to use. It's a good grower here.
I didn't notice until after registration that WW has a distinctive watermark.

 It has the lilac look of SHATTERED, but seems more vigorous, but is a mystery plant..The owner has a story from the early 2000s.  He came to my daylily garden on Cape Cod and I gave him this plant…(I have no memory of doing that)..he said it was in a pot and he planted it in his garden and it bloomed and he loved it..then he got more into daylilies and realized it was very different.  So we have traded broken plants and I have WARE CONFUSED now

THIS SEEDLING WAS A KNOCKOUT THE FIRST DAY..A BEAUTIFUL WINE PURPLE RUFFLED DIP WITH VEINING AND A DARKER PURPLE PENCILLED EDGE IN THE MORNING..THEN WOW, IN THE AFTERNOON ALL THE WEBBING STANDS OUT WITH BLUISH COLORING ON THE EDGES AND ON THE MIDRIBS OF THE PETALS, THE SEPALS ARE BLUISH ALSO..AMAZING..
